Technical Support Specialist - Business Equipment (Copiers, Printers, Phone Systems)
The Role
We are looking for a highly motivated Technical Support Specialist to join our team. Whether you are an experienced technician or a motivated trainee, we welcome candidates with a passion for technology and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
· Install, configure, and maintain business equipment such as photocopiers, printers, and phone systems.
· Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware and software of business equipment.
· Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients.
· Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on equipment.
· Respond to service calls and inquiries promptly and professionally.
· Assist in training clients on how to operate and maintain equipment.
· Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and customer interactions.
Requirements:
· Prior experience in technical support or related field is preferred, but not essential. We are happy to train motivated candidates.
· Familiarity with business equipment such as photocopiers, printers, and phone systems is a plus.
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent communication and customer service skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Valid driver’s license (for on-site service calls).

Receptionist & Administration Support
The Role
As a Receptionist/Work Controller, you will be responsible for providing excellent FOH service to staff and customers. This is a key role where you will take ownership of being the ‘master of first impressions’ and build important internal and external relationships.
To be successful in this role, you must have a friendly and positive attitude with a flexible approach to ensure that the business workflows are running smoothly.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- First point of call for the office – greeting guests and answering the phone
- Manage print Centre inbox
- Maintain in-house project management software & apps.
- Assist in responding to quote requests, clarifying, and invoicing
- Perform workflow control and general ad-hoc administrative duties
- Embrace and contribute to our positive values and team spirit.
Skills and experience required:
- Previous Receptionist/FOH/Studio Coordinator/Office Manager experience
- Adobe InDesign Experience is beneficial
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communicative skills
- Ability to organise and prioritise workload
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to liaise with staff at all levels

Print & Design All Rounder
About the position
This as a Permanent Full-time position with an immediate start.
The role is at our XRX Business Centre in Townsville's city centre.
You will never be bored in this role as it will be very varied being it is a cross over/all rounder position. In the print area you will be required to perform duties including customer service, printing - small and wide format, binding, laminating and more. Then you will also be scanning documentation of all types from small office documents to large format artwork and everything in-between. Experience in any of these areas and adobe suite is an advantage, although this is not essential as full training is provided. While we would love it if you had experience in this field, this role is also perfect for someone transitioning industries and wanting to excel in a new role.
This is an entry level position with the opportunity to grow into a fully trained design and print professional and/or document management expert. Hours of work are 8.30am-5.00pm Monday-Friday.
Key responsibilities of this role
- Assist with all printing tasks, for clients and inhouse with care and excellent attention to detail and quality.
- Assist customers at the front counter always with the utmost friendly and professional manner.
- Operation of scanning machines and software with exemplary eye for image quality and accuracy and implementing strict quality control procedures to ensure all documentation has been captured filed and named correctly.

Procurement / Inventory Admin
The Role
We are seeking a Procurement/Inventory Admin to join our Finance & Administration team. In this role you will answer customers consumable calls, be responsible for ordering and receipting of all goods into our warehouse including supplier follow up. You will also work closely with our Sales and Technical teams for ordering of equipment and parts.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Answer customer consumable calls and record for processing
- Place orders for equipment, stock, consumables, and non-stock items
- Monitor the status of purchase orders and liaise with suppliers to manage backorders.
- Communicate any delays, backorders, or errors to the team.
- Receipt incoming deliveries
- Stocktake stores and van stocks.
- Monitor stock levels and trends.
- Keep clear records for the accounts team.
Key attributes to be successful in securing this role.
- Excellent communication, multitasking and organisational skills.
- Able to work independently and in a team environment.
- Experience in purchasing and inventory control is desirable.
- Enthusiasm to learn new processes and systems with a can-do attitude.
- Computer literacy: MS Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Scanning Assistant
(Permanent Full-time & Permanent Part-time)
Due to business expansion, we are looking for XRX Print Centre Team Members.
When you will be needed:

- Assisting in the conversion of records from paper to electronic media
- Conducting document preparation, scanning hard copy files into electronic images, and then converting to PDF, TIFF or other types of files
- Providing Archival/Scanning support to Customers
- Utilizing appropriate software to scan, retain and distribute records
- Performing other position-related duties as assigned or requested
