The Xerox pedigree began in 1938 when inventor Chester Carlson put on his first public demonstration of xerography in New York City. The commercial process was developed by Xerox Corporation and is commonly used to produce high-quality text and graphic images.

The Fuji Xerox dealership commenced operations in Townsville during March 1984 with four employees.

Print & Imaging As A Service
Fuji Xerox is one of only 3 suppliers awarded to the panel contract for supplying Printing and Imaging as a Service (PIaaS). All Queensland Government departments can access this contract arrangement through Fuji Xerox Business Centre.
Restricted Electrical License
It is a requirement in Queensland that all photocopier businesses and repair engineers hold a Qld Restricted Electrical License. You should only deal with a photocopier supplier, who can prove that they hold this accreditation to ensure you meet your Duty of Care obligations. Fuji Xerox Business Centre holds Queensland Restricted Electrical Contractor no. 80465.
Fuji Xerox Business Centre has been dealing with the Queensland State Government for 35 years and we are approved suppliers under the Q-GITC framework (Supplier number Q-4216). Queensland Government procurement officers can rest assured that all the compliance requirements have been met.
SCP Certification
Fuji Xerox Australia is the only document company in Australia with SCP Certification, an internationally recognised standard defining best practices in technology support centres.
Q-Assure is a Queensland Government accreditation, which ensures that a supplier meets all compliance requirements to trade with government. Fuji Xerox Business Centre holds this accreditation and is listed in the online Q-Assure supplier guide for the Far North Queensland region.
